Bronze care
hahaahahahhhaahahahahah!! (evil laughter)

No seriously, from time to time one must sacrifice a painful amount of time and polish up the bronze. It is shocking (and telling) to see how quickly and how differently our bronze items tarnish. We are very impressed with the hardware from Davey & Co., and a little less with that from Wilmex (I am referring here only to the bronze finish and not to the mechanics of these lovely winches.).

I envision my eternal future with a polishing rag and a jar of Davey-Shine, as well as some Lano-Guard (sheep wool grease) … but also am enamored with the lovely green oxidation of our stanchions and portholes and have no intention of changing the way they are.
